ROLE OBJECTIVES:: A self-starter and someone who will:
• Develop and implement appropriate Sales Strategies to achieve
assigned sales target for the team, while maximising profitability;
o expansion of customer base/ sign on of new customers in new markets/ industry segments
o increase in business from existing customers
o exploring and recommending viable opportunities in the market that the company can invest in building capacity in
• Build and manage an effective Sales team required to achieve the
assigned targets, including ensuring implementation of necessary
development plan for each team member
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Execute all tasks required to generate and grow business
opportunities to ensure attainment of given sales target and
profitability assigned e.g. penetrate new markets/ industry sectors/
customers.
• Establish strong relations within all customer accounts, and ensure dealings with the customers is professional.
• Prepare proposals and contracts for clients and ensure accurate
& competitive pricing on all proposals/ .quotes submitted, while
striving to maintain maximum profit margin achievable
• Develop and implement appropriate sales strategies and techniques
that would ensure delivery of team on assigned sales and profit target
within the allocated market.
• Manage, direct and work closely with assigned team of sales
professional to progress and close deals when a higher level of
experience is required.
• Receive and query daily sales call memos from team members in
order to ensure team is effectively utilising their day to generate
revenue.
• Recommend service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential to the management team.
• Maintain accurate records of all contracts, proposals, quotations,
pricings, sales, and payments for all clients i.e. all correspondence
related to accounts handled.
• Ensure all concluded sales are promptly invoiced and processed for clients handling.
• Work with the Finance team to ensure all fulfilled services are promptly paid for totally
• Provide timely feedback to management regarding performance and
promptly sending all reports required e.g. daily call memos; weekly
sales reports; monthly sales reports; etc.
• Attend sales meetings, industry trade shows, and seminars in order
to gather information on available opportunities, promote the Company’s
services, expand network of contacts and increase knowledge.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
• Manage time efficiently and accomplish tasks within set deadlines.

Qualifications: |
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
• A university degree; a relevant Masters degree would be an added
advantage
• 5-7 years Sales experience in corporate, retail, and/or
business-to-business sales
• Experience within the Online industry
• Established network of contacts in small, medium and large
corporations/recruitment agencies in Nigeria
• Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics &
requirements
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• Proven relationship management, leadership and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of delivering and surpassing assigned revenue
targets
• Excellent sales, negotiation and presentation skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including command of
English
• Attention to detail and high level of organisation
• Able to work under pressures of deadlines and sales targets
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
• Detailed performance goals to be agreed and signed upon commencement
of work
REPORTS
• Weekly Sales report showing actual sales versus target sales and
explanation of the variances; as well as pipeline of all opportunities
being worked on stating the current Sales phase each opportunity is in
• Monthly Sales report showing actual sales from the team versus target
sales and explanation of the variances; list of new clients added and
served in the month; mention of key opportunities expected to close in
the coming month; etc
